I read an article today that listed the top 30 Holiday songs of all time in order of number sold. As usual, Mariah is on top...Again. ♫All I Want For Christmas♫ has sold 1,715,000 copies since it was released in 1994. No wonder that is the number one Holiday song of all time. The #2 slot belongs to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra with "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)" which was released in 1995. That song only sold 721,000. Mariah has literally sold a million more copies than all of the other songs on this list. So you can run and tell that, Ms. Henderson. And I would like to point out that Miss Whitney Houston's ass isn't on there at all! If Whitney is so wonderful, why is her name not in this article? She sang several Christmas songs...back when she was relevant.
I encourage everyone to head over the article and check it out for yourself. It's a great article and shows how Mariah compared to all the classical Christmas songs that we all know and love. Most of which were released about 50 years ago. ♥
